Hikes, walks, lecture at Red Rock State Park
In September 2014, Red Rock State Park will host the monthly hikes, and Dr. Kennard Bork will speak about the how Sedona's red rocks were formed. The park also offers guided bird walks and nature walks as well as the opportunity to explore on your own.

Jerome Art Walk continues its momentum on Sept. 6 with its first Saturday celebration of art. Twenty-five galleries and studios will be open from 5-8 p.m. with art, music and refreshments. The popular Sedona Hummingbird Festival is Aug. 1-3, and several events have already sold out. But there are still informative presentations and demonstrations available as well as the art exhibit, which is new this year, and the Hummingbird Marketplace.
