Sedona Area Restaurant Association launches

The Sedona Area Restaurant Association (SARA) is one of the newest affinity groups of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce. This organization will focus on uniting Sedona area restaurants to promote their diversity, high quality and feature Sedona and it's surrounding areas as a premiere dining destination.

Michele Moore (owner/Marketplace Cafe and Sedona Chamber of Commerce board member) was asked by the Chamber to start a restaurant affinity group.  With the help of Elizabeth McIntyre (vice-chairperson/Food and Beverage Director at Poco Diablo and Stephen Sullins (treasurer/restaurant consultant) they have formed the leadership team and gotten the ball rolling.

The organization will have an official Sedona Area Dining guide, website, monthly meetings and take over the "Dine in Sedona" program that was created two years ago. Membership will include restaurants, vendors and industry related companies.

Newest members include Storytellers at Cliff Castle Casino, Oaxaca, Dahl & DiLuca, Cucina Rustica, Cafe Jose, Marketplace Cafe, and T-Carls at Poco Diablo. The next opportunity meeting is scheduled for Jan 4, 2011, at Poco Diablo. The organization is looking for motivated individuals to fill some key positions and help the organization grow. Get involved and get noticed.

For membership information please contact Michele Moore at or call (928) 274-8173.
